This course features over 11 hours of video content and an abundance of pro level tips to help you take things to the next level with your sound.

This is not a course on how to use your DAW, or how to make tracks. This course is designed to provide an in-depth, fully comprehensive understanding of mixing electronic music to your own personal tastes.

The tips I provide aim to not just offer a ‘one sound/style fits all’ methodology, but instead to provide you with all the tools you need to help to get the best out of every single sound in your track, without the use of presets. This will be done through achieving a clear understanding of all things required for professional sound engineering of electronic music.

The course will be delivered in Ableton Live, but is open to and fully designed to be for people using any software, as all of the principles of mixing are universal and not exclusive to any one particular software.

I will be using digital plugins only for the entirety. We will be mixing ‘in the box’, no outboard equipment is required. The course will create informed decision making when it comes to the ‘what, where, when, why and how’ of channel processing for the most professional results when tackling your projects. I will use the plug-ins that I have found to be the best in their class throughout my career as a professional sound engineer, as this is a pro course. This means that some of the best plugins used will cost money to buy if you wish to own them, however I will also provide multiple free solutions, such as stock plugin alternatives in Ableton and Logic, as well as free or cheap third-party downloads.
